Roofing in the summertime

Blog, Vancouver Roofing
June 23, 2012

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve had a chance to post up on here, but don’t worry! We haven’t forgotten about you. We’ve been working hard on roofing many homes in the Vancouver area, and the weather has been playing along nicely as well. You can’t blame us for wanting to work outside just a little bit more. Speaking of which, if you’ve got a job for us, don’t hesitate to call right away. Summer typically ends up being the busy roofing season, and now that the summer solstice is upon us, the days won’t be getting any longer. If you haven’t done your annual roofing inspection already, make it a top priority.

roofing in the summertimeIf you’ve had a read through our blog, you know how excited we can get about cedar roofing. Cedar roofing shingles offer one of the best looks for your roof, and have such fantastic durability that you will always stay proud of the results. We’ve talked several times about the reasons we would choose cedar roofing shingles over other types of material. Soon, we’ll have a chance to sit down with the supplier of our cedar roofing shingles to ask all the questions we didn’t already know an answer to. This will give us (and you by extension) the chance to learn a few more intimate details about the product we love.

If you were ever curious about how cedar roofing shingles were produced, or what standards they must meet, or how the manufacturers are working toward sustainable practices, then stay tuned.

If you have a few questions of your own, why not send us an email? If we can answer it, we will. If we can’t, we’ll do the research for you, and answer it in a blog post. Just make sure it has something to do with roofing. Sound like a deal?
