The failed experiment that was the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) in BC is finally coming to an end on March 31. Beginning in April, all services will be charged a 7% PST instead of the 12% HST. This is hardly news for many of our customers, as renovations and new builds have been scheduled to accommodate the HST transition for months. What should be mentioned though, is the necessity of scheduling ahead if you are planning on your own build.
Tax season is synonymous with procrastination, but if you find yourself needing the services of a roofing company, then it’s time to call. Home maintenance providers (and not just roofers) everywhere are being booked solid.
This is particularly necessary on larger jobs, like a slanted roof replacement or installation. If you’ve been holding back due to tax concerns, make the call and explain your goals to one of our experienced staff. We will provide you with a schedule of service for your project.
We rely on the quality of our work, and will not rush a job. After all, our work is relied on to last for 25 years. This can leave less room on the schedule for simultaneous projects, so call today to book your spring roofing plans.
